Google Cloud SQL - Database also moves to Cloud

It is a product, for which app engine users/developers were waiting for a long time. Programmers were feeling too much tight with Objectify and Datastore where the relationships are not possible. And for that they were requesting google to have a product like MySQL. Google was also happy while announce the limited preview of Google Cloud SQL. Hosted on Cloud, a fully managed environment, Developers need not to worry about the chores of managing, maintaining and administering relational databases. It provides a similar MySQL database environment with JDBC support (For Java) and DB-API support (For Python). It provides a simple and powerful interaction with Google App Engine along with an in-depth user friendly interface for administrating your database.

Google Cloud SQL is also a service like Google Maps or App Engine other services. It Provides a highly available, self-managed, hosted SQL storage solution. Like App Engine, Google Cloud SQL is also easy to use and doesn't require any software installation or maintenance. Apart from it you can create instances up to 10GB and also a important functionality of import and export is there to move existing MySQL database to CLOUD and use it with Google App Engine application.

Currently it is only available for App engine applications written in Python or Java. Google Cloud SQL is available free of charge right now, But pricing will be released soon.
